Volunteer for Spring Break 2019
DC3C is currently seeking eager and motivated volunteers for Spring Break 2019! Our 4th annual DC3C Spring Break program is closing the employment gap for people with disabilities through a weeklong job-readiness program focused on professionalism and interview skills for high school students.
Volunteers are a HUGE part of our students’ continued success! 40 students from across DC Charters will join us for a weeklong job-readiness “bootcamp” focused on refining the skills necessary to obtain employment. Held during the week of April 15-19, from 9am until 2:30pm, all the volunteer activities will occur on George Washington University’s campus and are Metro-accessible (Foggy Bottom-GWU Station.)
For this year’s program, there are numerous volunteer opportunities available including but not limited to: general event support, one-on-one resume support, mock interviewing, networking hours, and reverse job fair interviewers.
Sign up to volunteer today and make a real difference in the life of a student with disability! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Dr. Rebecca Foster at firstname.lastname@example.org
